Malabar Gourd Preserve Cake
Ingredients:
Serves 8
• 250 grs of sugar ;
• 250 grs of husked almonds ;
• 20 grs of powdered chocolate ;
• 150 grs of Malabar Gourd Preserve ;
• 6 eggs
Beat the eggs and the sugar until they thicken, then add the ground
almonds (unpeeled), the chocolate and finally the Malabar Gourd Preserve.
Pour the mixture into a well buttered tin that is lined with grease-proof
paper that has also been buttered, and bake in the oven.
Decorate to taste.
