Reduced-fat Artichoke-Spinach Dip Cooking method


Spinach & artichoke recipe Ingredients

2 cups reduced-fat mozzarella cheese, shredded
1 (10 ounce) box frozen spinach, thawed
1 (14 ounce) can artichoke hearts, drained
2/3 cup fat-free sour cream
1 cup fat-free cream cheese
1/3 cup reduced-fat mayonnaise
2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 sourdough bread bowl (optional)
assorted crackers or veggies (optional)

Directions for cooking Reduced-fat Artichoke-Spinach Dip

Yields approximately 4.5 cups of dip, which is about 15 servings.
1.) Thaw and drain spinach. Try to squeeze out as much excess water as possible. Grate or shred mozzarella cheese. Hollow out sourdough bread bowl (if using).
2.) Mix together mozzarella cheese, spinach, and artichoke hearts.
3.) Combine remaining ingredients in a separate bowl, and then and mix with cheese-spinach-artichoke mixture.
4.) Scoop mixture into sourdough bread bowl. Wrap foil around bread bowl (leaving the dip exposed) to prevent over-browning of bowl. If not using bread bowl, spread mixture into casserole dish.
5.) Bake at 375°F for 20-30 minutes.
Serve with bread bowl, crackers, veggies or toasted bread.
