Green beans and carrots recipe Ingredients
• 1/2 pound tiny whole carrots
• 1/2 pound green beans
• 2 teaspoons margarine or butter
• 1/8 teaspoon pepper
• Dash salt
1. Trim carrots, leaving 1 to 2 inches of stem. Trim ends from beans.
2. In a medium saucepan cook fresh green beans and baby carrots, covered,
in a small amount of boiling water for 10 to 15 minutes or until crisp-tender.
Drain; stir in margarine, pepper, and salt until combined. Makes 4
servings.
