Corn custard recipe Cooking method
Ingredients
• 1 (16 ounce) can creamed corn
• 3 eggs, beaten
• 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
• 2 tablespoons chopped green bell peppers
• 1/4 cup flour
• 1 tablespoon sugar
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/8 teaspoon pepper
• 1 pinch nutmeg
• 2 cups half-and-half cream
1. Stir corn, eggs, cheese and bell pepper together.
2. Combine flour, sugar and spices; add to corn mixture.
3. Stir in half and half.
4. Spoon into a greased 1 1/2 qt baking dish.
5. Set baking dish in a deep pan and add 1 inch hot water to outer
pan.
6. Bake in a preheated 325 degree oven for 1 hour, 20 minutes or until
a knife inserted in the middle comes out clean.
