Recipe for Corn Flakes Cereal Snack Cooking method
Corn flakes recipe Ingredients:
3/4 cup Granulated sugar
1/2 cup Corn syrup
1/4 cup Margarine or butter
1 cup Peanuts
6 cups Kellogg's Corn Flakes
- Vegetable cooking spray
1. In large heavy saucepan, combine sugar, syrup and margarine. Cook
over medium heat, stirring constantly, until sugar is dissolved and
mixture boils. Boil 1 minute. Remove from heat.
2. Add peanuts and cereal. Stir until well coated.
3. Spread mixture on cookie sheet, coated with cooking spray, to about
1/4" thickness. Cool.
4. Break into pieces. Store in layers, separated with waxed paper
in airtight container in refrigerator. Serve as snack or over ice
cream, yogurt or pudding.
