Ingredients
700g/1.5 lbs fillet steak 4 tsp Maille Dijon Originale Mustard 2
tbsp grated onion Salt and freshly ground black pepper.
These burgers are best made hand-chopped for the best texture — but
you could use a processor on pulse setting so that the meat is not
cut too fine.
If you use a food processor, heat is created and this starts to cook
the meat.
Hand chop meat with a heavy sharp knife and place in a bowl. Add
the mustard and grated onion then season. Using your hands, shape
the meat into four thick rounds. Brush lightly with oil and grill
on the barbecue, or griddle in the kitchen.
Serve in buns with salad.
I would also top the burgers with a slice of a good medium Cheddar
cheese and a slice of crispy Parma ham and cook some good quality
sausages on the barbecue which can be served with a dip made from
mayonnaise and Maille Dijon mustard.
