How to prepare Vegan spinach recipe


Spinach Surprise

A quick, easy, delicious, healthy snack!

Ingredients (use vegan versions):

1 can vegan croissants
16 oz. frozen spinach, drained
4 oz. vegan cream cheese (Tofutti) at room temperature
1 tablespoon garlic, minced
salt and pepper to taste

Directions for cooking Vegan spinach recipe:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

2. Mix drained spinach, cream cheese, garlic, salt and pepper in a mixing bowl.

3. Lay out croissants, two together so it forms a rectangle, press edges together.

4. Spoon 2 to 3 tablespoons of spinach mixture in the middle of the croissants.

5. Fold corners to the middle to form a little purse.

6. Pop the spinach surprises in the oven for 12-14 minutes.

7. Cool on a cooling rack for 5 minutes, and enjoy!
