Scalloped Hubbard Squash Cooking method
Hubbard squash recipe Ingredients:
• 3 tablespoons butter
• 1/2 cup chopped onion
• 1 medium green bell pepper, chopped
• 3 1/2 cups mashed, cooked Hubbard squash
• salt and pepper
• 1/2 cup crushed corn flakes or cracker crumbs
Directions for hubbard squash recipe.
In a medium skillet, melt butter over medium low heat; sauté onion
and green bell pepper until tender. Add squash; season with salt and
pepper to taste. Transfer mixture to a buttered shallow baking dish
and sprinkle with crumbs. Bake hubbard squash recipe at 400° F for
about 25 to 30 minutes.
Hubbard squash recipe serves 4.
