How to cook Taro Root Pudding
Taro pudding recipes Ingredients:
2 c. diced taro root
1/3 c. sweet jasmine rice
1/4 tsp salt
2/3 c. sugar
5 c. water
Put taro root, sweet rice in a non-sticks soup pot. Pour water and
let it cook in medium heat. Stirs occasionally.
When the taro root cooked (about an hour), add salt and sugar. Taste
the pudding and add more sugar if you want the pudding taste sweeter.
Pour Coconut dressing (see below) on top before serve and serve hot.
Coconut Dressing
Ingredients:
1 large can (13.5 oz) coconut milk
1/2 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp cornstarch
1/4 tsp salt
Directions:
Mix all ingredients in a small saucepan. Cook in low heat till sauce
thickening.
