How to cook Zucchini au gratin recipe

Ingredients:
• 6 Zucchinis (about 3 lbs)
• 4 tbs olive oil
• 4 slices of bacon (4 oz)
• 1 cup whipping cream
• 1 cup milk
• 4 tbs flour (4 oz)
• 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
• 1/2 teaspoon grated nutmeg
• salt and pepper
Wash and slice the zucchinis.
In a frying pan, heat olive oil and sliced bacon (cut into 1/4 inch
pieces) over high heat for 2 minutes.
Stir in zucchinis and add salt and pepper.
Cook over medium-high heat for 20 minutes stirring from time to time.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Sprinkle flour over zucchinis and stir in the milk and cream at once.
Add the grated nutmeg.
Stir the whole mixture, cooking over medium heat for 2-3 minutes.
Pour into greased 9" glass dish.
Sprinkle with cheese.
Bake for 15 minutes at 400 degrees F.
Place the pan under broiler for 3 to 5 minutes or until cheese is
bubbly and golden brown.
Serve warm or cold.
